BLOG
Here you can find an essence of the blogging work I was doing between 2014-2015 for The Style Exposé - lifestyle and beauty platform.
The official The Style Exposé website is under reconstruction currently.
L'héritage

Honouring in ancient times, reviving in the epoch of Renaissance, the understanding of naked human bodies as the object worth adoring, has been present in every artistic sphere.
The name of the editorial L’Héritage precisely epitomizes the beauty of the human era, inherited century by century, generation after generation. This interest in anthropology with an added aesthetics' touch has led me to look at humans as a work of art. The rituals, movements, gestures, and emotions people naturally express, are simply, fantastic craft works. Since human silhouettes are beautifully angled, I understand the connection between living and sculpted creatures as "memento vivere" of our epoch.
Crème de la crème

The stimulus for Crème de la Crème editorial popped up when the last snow thawed, and bright rays of the sun hit the horizon.
At midday, as the ground was almost burning, the air got thick and heavy creating a fading aura around the location.
As for the patterns, the background - monumental white travertine underlined the choice of an outfit and dulcified the ambient. Layers on layers, the contrast emerald subtly melted into the structure.
Since the main pursuit was to create a photo story with a luxurious tint, an icing on a cake was the natural light, turning from warm accents into purplish ones.
Le X [iks]

"The photo editorial Le X [iks] is an ode to a modern, powerful woman, whose charm is based on intelligent and matured approach.
Conscious of her abilities, she has crystallized into an independent and open-minded human being.
Taking my hats off to one of a kind designer, Yves Saint Laurent, I set the photo-shooting to dramatic yet solid ambient, highlighting his lifetime masterpiece, le smoking.
Balancing between feminine curves and androgynous spirit, the mixture of chilly blue shades and minimalistic mood underlined the wished monochromatic effect. "
Nostalgia

What might be worthless to one person, can be priceless to another. Empowered by this philosophy, I created the Nostalgia photo story, intensifying precious memories everyone tends to carry.
The lenses focused on a pair of ancient-like earrings, encapsulating one’s individual journey. The key to a visual symphony was a connection of both warm and cold colors, using irregular beige patterns with tones of flaming violet.
Red fluid

An inner bizarreness was a central theme of the Red Fluid styling. The effort to create an extravagant impression flowed into an entertaining experience wrapped up in a disco spirit.
With an eye on the 70’s suede trend, currently redivivus, I concentrated on both playful and luxurious aspect of this fabric creating a frisky result, so typical for artistic and decadent spheres.
The suede itself is a very subtle material and being a part of an outfit, it always takes the first row. In order to stay faithful to laws of simplicity, the other elements work as a binder - not to complicate yet encapsulate the whole extravaganza.
La Bohème

The photo editorial La Bohème was inspired by a brisk Sunday morning when the diffusing rays of light hit the curtains inconspicuously.
The leading idea consisted of an atmosphere so mysterious and sentimental one would balance on the threshold of reality.
Like a visual diary full of small treasures, the intimate boudoir tells a story of a uniquely sophisticated woman. Stuck in time, lost in translation, just dreaming that dream.
The study of geometry

With a belief that everything is related to everything else, the Study of Geometry has been composed using the basic knowledge of omnipresent laws of mathematics. All fields, even those built on aesthetical manners, are directly influenced by mathematics.
The effort to create an eye-pleasing result inspired me to play with the configuration, focusing on axis alone. I captured the straight lines in vertical, horizontal as well as diagonal composition. The endless elements deny the borders of a frame and, subconsciously, indicate a feeling of an absolute infinity.
Enriching the fragments with subtle color shades just fortified the liquidity of an image.
